I can finish now...

Dom is asleep, so is Fletcher, Cordy is having a sleep over at Nanna's and Timmy is at a bucks party....

So I can finish the post...

PROJECT SCRAPWARE#10 - His LIttle Princess

Love these flourishes... It is not like me to use both of them on the one layout but I needed to make a corner type configuration. I also love that paper from crate paper. so girly... I did another layout in that paper but I cant show you that one yet.....

PROJECT SCRAPWARE #11 - UNO battles before 7am

Bright and cheerpy this one photo's were not the best, very grainy but sometimes you just have to go with what you've got to get the story down.
The journalling will be on blocks of white cardstock running down the left hand side. For this one I have used a Scrapware speech bubble and a round chipboard circle which I covered with a Jilly bean spot.

PROJECT SCRAPWARE #12 - Goodbye Two

The last and final share until Monday. No layout is complete until it has a hidden journal area to squeeze another photo in. In this layout we have a transparent window also.
Lisa's beautiful butterflies swoop across the page I found them on cleaning Ange's scrapbooking supplies that she left at my place....Thanks Ange they go perfectly on the page.
The tiny little butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch (those little ones are devine, so weeny)

Have a great weekend...

and Fletcher ROCKED this morning..

So proud of Master Fletch. They won their Basketball grandfinal by a massive one point.
Final score 11 to 10 a really fast game that had everyone standing and cheering and groaning for the entire 40 mins.

I am going to have tomorrow, being Sunday off the blogging and spend it with the kids and husband but I will share some Scrapware goodness for the weekend. I have just photographed 10 layouts but I cannot share the majority cause they either have new product on them or I need them for my Design Team commitments.

so to boost my tally for the week
I love this page... I did it awhile ago and it had been living at my local Scrapbooking store and I only just recieved it back. I so love that basic grey paper range and the martha Stewart glitter matched perfectly. I made the Acetate butterflies by stamping and embossing two sizes of butterflies and then sewing them together. Add a bit of light stamping and there you have it a very simple layout.

PROJECT SCRAPWARE #9
Another example of combining scrapware and stamping and of course the using of glitter.

I have a few more to share but Dominique is demanding to watch Mickey mouse on the computer... got to go

Literally flying out the door...

The last day of school today....
Yipeeeee I know without a doubt the kids will be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow after me having to drag them out of bed at the last possible moment for the last week. So excited to have them all to myself again.

Cordy trotted off to school this am with her easter present for her teacher. She helped me with the card and was so proud.... The bunny only just fit (thank goodness)Cordy and I shredded tissue paper for grass to lay in and gave him a Lindt carrot to munch on. Dommie stated it was
"Awwww mama SOOOO QUUUUT"

And for some fun I thought I would share this photo of Lilly and Dominique taken first thing one saturday morning.... The two of them have the same attitude towards the brush. That is they would prefer to never have one touch their hair.

On to some scrapping Project SCRAPWARE #7
Using the scallop circle (my Favourite go to item ever) and the funky tree and a flower as the sun

Well I have to run I am off to spend the day serving happy shiny little faces in the school canteen. Wish me luck.

Daily blogging....

Lets just see how long I can do it for....

I am presently up very late finishing off the Easter presents for the teachers. I am struggling with the male teacher though. I think I will have to sleep on that one.

At the moment I keep cleaning up and organising the next set of classes. I will get the program out to you girls soon. I had such a lovely evening teaching that I cant wait to do it again I have the next two done but I am trying to shuffle the calender to find the right dates.

Some recent scrapping Tackling the Inspired Blueprints Sketch #44. I put my very graphic straight up and down style into this one. Lots of photo's in this one 6 to be exact and sorry Ange not a piece of scrapware in sight. I still have the journalling to do, I tend to leave it for a few days until I am in the right headspace to be concise.

IB #44 - Lucky u
Now on to Project Scrapware #5 - be a free spirit
I love these photos cause it takes my back to being a kid and swinging, the rush of air between my toes and in my hair and the need for more height, more speed. I might just go to the park tomorrow and swing away.

and just because I can here is Project Scrapware #6 - Tuesdays child is full of Grace

For this I actually just used dimensional magic straight onto the chipboard because I couldn't mix the right paint colour nor find the right colour ink...I love the colour that it produced it is a really nice olive and it complemented the page exactly. Not to mention that my beautiful girl Cordy just takes my breath away.

So on that note I am going to go to bed.
thanks for visiting

on a creative roll...

But I have to ask ?

Is it really wrong to wash your paint brush in a cup of cold coffee??? Oops.
I was just on a roll and I really could not be bothered to get off my rear end to get a glass of water. That would have just broken the spell and reminded my husband that I wouldn't be going to bed any time soon.

The tea party...
I did this down at the beach last weekend with Ange. We had such a lovely weekend of scrapping and creating and not seeing much of the beach.

SORRY REMOVED FOR PUBLICATION

I am not usually a fan of Webster papers but I felt like creating a really girlie pastel number and it was fun. And the most exciting thing about this layout was the fact that I got to use my 7gypsies gold spoons. I have been carrying those cute little spoons around for about six years now.

You will have to excuse the rather large piece of string across the photo. I have a habit of not cutting the thread

So that is another one down....

I am slowly settling into blogspot it is really different to typepad and I am having some issues with the formatting and getting the stuff on the side. So at the moment it will have to stay a little empty until I finish a few more layouts.

Thanks for popping by

Back with a few more projects

One for the boys....
I got out the Graphically speaking cartridge for this one. More often than not I think that the cricut is too hard to pull out and use when I can usually find something on hand that will do. But I really like how it came together.

#2 - Last single digit
Products used Impact font, mini bracket and large scallop circle

Next is one for the girls
I had lots of bits of paper and thought I could use them up along with a chopped up flourish that I put to good use for the stems. Love chopping up those florishes to make them longer or to make them fit to suit the layout.
At the moment I am going through a little phase of using lots of different size fonts.... different textures and layers... It is a phase.

#3 - Little miss sunshine sometimes.

so there we are the count down is on..... 3 down 497 to go. yipeee
cheers

hello again...

Same person different venue.
After a long and needed break from the paper cutting and pasting I am back re-engerised, healthy and only slightly broken.
To all the wonderful people and I do mean wonderful people....THANKYOU. Thank you for standing by me when my world crumbled and for being there to help me glue it back together.Words are not enough but they are a good starting place.
One constant over the last twelve months has been the lovely face behind
Scrapware, Ange. We have laughed, cried and stayed up late imaging a world where her chipboard ruled the world and there were endless hours in the day to create masterpieces and still have time for the important things in life like family, friendship and a homecooked meal.
to Ange - THANKYOU FOR GIVING ME A CHANCE TO WORK WITH YOUR WONDERFUL TEAM AND FOR GIVING ME THE INSPIRATION TO KEEP ON CUTTING AND PASTING.love ya sista x.

Now the blog..... It is a tribute to all the husbands out there whom have ever said "Could you please clean up your crap so we can eat on that table!"
sound familiar....anyone I have one aim at the moment and that is to scrap 500
scrapware projects so I can show you how usable and fun this product is. I will not put a time limit on project500 cause you know I have a issue with stress but I seriously have to use some of the S{crap} in this house.
So here is a first cab out of the rank.
#1 - Shiny Happy little people
